
It started quietly, almost like a blessing. My younger brother, who had struggled for years without a stable job, suddenly had money. Not small money. Real money. He bought a new car, cleared debts, started building a house, and paid school fees for relatives without blinking. At first, the family celebrated. We called it luck. We said his time had finally come.
But the speed of it all did not sit right with us. There was no business we knew of. No promotion, no inheritance, no explanation that made sense. When asked, he avoided details or laughed it off.
