Geoffrey Mosiria disgusted as lady driver violently attacks male motorist after minor accident; “Kuwatetea ni ngumu,”

Nairobi county official Geoffrey Mosiria has expressed disgust and frustration after a disturbing video surfaced online showing a lady driver violently attacking a male motorist following a minor road accident.

In the now-viral clip, the yet-to-be-identified lady driver is seen engaging the male motorist in a heated confrontation moments after the minor crash.

The situation quickly escalates as the woman, who is dressed in a red outfit, turns aggressive and repeatedly attacks the man, who is recording the incident using his mobile phone.

The video has since sparked mixed reactions across social media platforms, with a majority of netizens condemning the lady’s violent behaviour.

Many Kenyans faulted her for resorting to physical aggression over what appeared to be a manageable road incident, calling for calm, restraint and adherence to the law in such situations.

As the clip continued circulating widely, countless netizens called for justice for the male motorist, urging authorities to investigate the matter and ensure accountability regardless of gender.

Others questioned the growing trend of road rage incidents in Nairobi, warning that such behaviour could easily lead to serious injuries or loss of life.

Interestingly, a section of Kenyans tagged Nairobi county official Geoffrey Mosiria, calling on him to come to the rescue of the lady driver just as he recently did with Marion Naipei.

However, Mosiria made it clear that he was not willing to intervene this time.

Taking to his Facebook page, Mosiria shared the video of the incident and openly stated that he had “washed his hands” of such matters.

He noted that defending ladies in some situations had become increasingly difficult, especially when their actions appeared unjustifiable.

In his strongly worded caption, Mosiria wrote:

“Pia nyinyi mmezidi ni juzi tu nimekuwa na case yenu , hata sijapumzika tena mmechapana. Saa zingine kuwatetea pia nyinyi ni ngumu. Kwani hivi ndivyo Adam alikapitia? No wonder God alijam! Acha nikunywe maji niende hivi, narudi, though I don’t support any form of GBV. Let justice prevail ama Vipi majamaa?”

According to the Nairobi county official, he is exhausted from constantly rescuing and helping ladies, only for some of them to cause drama just days after receiving help.

Mosiria emphasised that while he does not support any form of gender-based violence (GBV), justice must be allowed to take its course without selective sympathy.

Mosiria’s remarks have further fueled debate online, with Kenyans split on whether public figures should continue intervening in such cases or allow legal institutions to handle them independently.

The latest incident comes barely days after Mosiria stood firmly with Marion Naipei, who had been at the centre of a major online scandal.

Mosiria played a key role in aiding the reporting of US-based Kenyan man James Opande at Buruburu Police Station after he recorded and leaked a humiliating video involving Naipei.

Following the police report and mounting public pressure, Opande was forced to issue a public apology to Marion Naipei and Kenyans at large, stating that he was seeking an amicable resolution to the matter.

As discussions continue to rage online, the lady driver involved in the road rage incident is yet to be identified, with many Kenyans insisting that the law should apply equally to all, regardless of gender or public sympathy.
